5th class compete in Lord Mayor’s Cup

5th class went to Larkin College to compete in the Lord Mayor’s Cup Competition. They competed against O’Connell’s – an all boys school.
The events the children took part in were wall climbing, basketball shots, football, penalty shoot-out and sprints. At least 5 children took part in each event and some children had to do more than one event each, They all tried their very best. Miss Smith, Elani and Miss O’Loughlin did their best too. It was a fun morning out and 5th class showed real competitive spirit and great sportsmanship. Well done to all involved!

The Phoenix Park in Spring

First Class visited The Phoenix Park to see the wonderful signs of Spring. We met a man who worked there. He showed us the swans’ nest and he very kindly gave us lots of daffodils to bring home.
