Our annual Art Exhibition, which took place on February 12th, 2015 was once again a great success thanks to the talented artists of St. Gabriel’s. A myriad of beautiful and original pieces were on display for the parents and members of our community to enjoy, with our knowledgeable and interesting curators from 4th, 5th and 6th classes guiding everyone through the exhibition.
We welcomed the children from Rainbows and Dunard playgroups, parishioners from the Church of the Holy Family in Aughrim Street, members of Dublin City Council including Cllr. Ray McAdam representing the Lord Mayor, the parents of future, current and past pupils, community workers from groups such as An Síol and Áosóg, neighbours and many more.
Thank you to the parish centre in Prussia Street for the use of the display boards and a huge thank you to all our teachers and S.N.A.s who helped to set up the exhibition. Finally a sincere thank you to all our curators and all the artists from Junior Infants to 6th Class who made this such a proud and enjoyable day.
