Parent and Teacher Meetings
Every November in St. Gabriel’s we invite our parents and guardians to come to the school and meet with all the relevant teachers that work with your child/children. We have found that holding these meetings at this stage of the year allows our teachers to get to know their pupils and observe any progress, but also allows the parents and teachers to work and plan together for the coming year. Both class and support teachers will be available for these meetings.
Meetings with parents will take place on Tuesday 13th and Tuesday 20th of November. Please check the time and day that you have been assigned. The meetings will last for ten minutes so we ask that everyone arrives on time for their appointment so that the afternoon will run to schedule.
Children will go home at 2:15pm on Tuesday 13th November to facilitate these meetings. We look forward to welcoming all of you at some stage over the next few days.
Learning Through Play
Some of the children from 1st Class recently went down to visit our new Aistear Playroom to investigate all the different toys and activities. From running a busy café, building a city, running an international jewellery and hat business, visiting the supermarket and welcoming guests to their house, they all exercised their imaginations and had a lot of fun at the same time!

Maths Week 2018
All the children in St. Gabriel’s enjoyed a fantastic week of learning and fun during Maths Week Ireland recently. There were many activities taking place during the week including our whole school Maths Games Extravaganza, Maths trails both around the school and in the Phoenix Park and a nail-biting Tables Championship Quiz. Huge thanks to all our wonderful parents who were able to take part that week! Pictured are some of our quiz winners and our Maths Games Extravaganza.
