The pupils in the Sunshine Room were busy making pancakes today to celebrate Pancake Tuesday. They helped crack the eggs, pour the milk and sieve the flour. They made the tastiest batter in Stoneybatter! When the pancakes were cooked they had a choice between butter, sugar, lemon juice and chocolate spread to make them even tastier. Great job guys! Senior Table Quiz
On Wednesday all the pupils from 1st class to 6th class took part in the senior One World Week table quiz. This is an annual event to celebrate the multi cultural diversity in our school. After a variety of questions from history to geography, Gaeilge to Lámh signs, music rounds to picture rounds, we had two teams tied at the top and two teams tied for 3rd place. Junior Table Quiz
All the pupils in junior and senior infants took part in the One World Week table quiz on Wednesday. The competition was fierce with all teams finishing just a couple of points apart. We even had a three way tie break question for 3rd place with Croatia and Greece just missing out to Argentina! Thank you to all the 6th class pupils who acted as scribes for their junior buddies. Sunshine Room Art
The pupils in the Sunshine Room have been busy creating spring art this week. They used bubble wrap to help make lambs frolicking in the fields. After that they used prints of forks and corks to make colourful tulips.

Free mosaic class for parents
Mosaic classes for parents will be starting on Monday the 10th of February at 12.30pm-2.30pm in the parents’ room at St. Gabriel’s NS.
These classes are FREE! They are run by a qualified, experienced and talented artist (Olwyn Colgan) and will continue each Monday over the term. Some beautiful pieces made by other parents are shown above.
