All the classes at St. Gabriel’s enjoyed an exciting science week. Some individual posts from each class can be found on the school website. Above are some pictures of the wonderful science week assembly that Mr. Flanagan organised as part of the week. Well done to all involved and to those who won awards. Science week in 4th class!
We had lots of fun in Senior Infants doing our science experiments. We made raisins dance, turned lemons into volcanoes and attempted to explode a bottle of coke.
Parent Teacher Meetings will take place on Thursday 17th and Thursday 24th of November. The staff in St. Gabriel’s NS are looking forward to welcoming parents and guardians back into the school for these important meetings. In addition to your child’s class teacher, support teachers and HSCL will be available to meet with on these days.
Parents can enter the school through the door that their child usually uses (front door or playground door). If you are unable to attend at the assigned time, please let the class teacher know and a meeting can be arranged for an alternative date and time.
Mr Flanagan has organised lots of fun in-class experiments and activities for all classes this week as part of Science Week.
There will also be a fun art competition with fantastic prizes and a whole-school experiment during Assembly on Friday.
