Viking Museum Tour
Today, the children in Mr Smyth’s 3rd Class went on a guided tour in the National Museum on Kildare Street. They had been learning about Vikings in class and today was a lovely trip to learn about Vikings in Ireland.
Mr Smyth’s Class learn about Ecosystems in STEM workshop
Today in their Try Five STEM workshop with Ana from TUD Grangegorman, the children learned about ecosystems and built their own terrarium- which they will bring home today.
A terrarium is like an aquarium, but for plants instead of fish. It is made in just about any glass container.
It is planted to look like a miniature garden or forest enclosed in its own little world. They had lots of fun!
