Sunshine Scientists!

Recently the Sunshine Class was transformed into a laboratory to mark Science Week. The children tried many different experiments. They were a great success. A lot of fun and learning took place. Thank you to Miss Flahive for sharing some colourful experiments with us too!

What did we learn?

– When sugar is put in warm water, it dissolves.

– Water can move through paper towels and plants – Capillary action

– When acid and alkali are mixed together they produce a gas called carbon dioxide.
