Today, Miss O’Loughlin’s class had great fun in maths, estimating and measuring the capacity of bottles, cups and also a a 16 litre bucket.<\/p>\n

We found out how much a mini-cup measures – which is 200ml. We found the maximum capacity of a kettle was 1.7 litres….but….after we filled the kettle up to the top, guess what happened?…… The water started to leak out of the kettle!! We had put 2700ml in….that was a whole litre too much!<\/p>\n

Then we measured the capacity of the carton of milk and that one was 190ml. Teacher’s water bottle holds 750ml.<\/p>\n

Finally the bucket – everyone of the children got to fill the bucket! It was great fun and we really enjoyed doing it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
