Every Monday, Ms. Fitzpatrick, along with Vicki, Aoife, and the wonderful students in Ms. Fitzpatrick&#8217;s class, will be visiting each class to introduce and demonstrate the <strong>L\u00e1mh sign of the week<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative aims to increase awareness and encourage everyone to learn and use L\u00e1mh, a manual sign system used by children and adults with additional needs in Ireland. We\u2019ll be sharing a new sign each week, and you\u2019ll have the chance to learn it alongside your classmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>visual guide<\/strong> for each sign will be displayed in the <strong>PE hall<\/strong>, so you can refer to it and practice throughout the week. We hope this initiative brings us all closer together as we learn more about L\u00e1mh and how we can support communication in our school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first sign of the week is <strong>&#8220;Hi&#8221;<\/strong> \u2013 a simple and friendly greeting to start us off!
