6th Class Clay<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Our 6th class students have been getting hands-on in art, working with clay to create imaginative sea creature sculptures. They explored a range of clay techniques, including crosshatching and texturing, to add detail and bring their underwater creations to life. The results show great creativity, skill, and enthusiasm, with each sculpture reflecting the students\u2019 growing confidence and artistic expression<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6th Class Data Representations <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

At the start of this month, the children had great fun carrying out surveys around the school to collect different types of data, including categorical and numerical information. They worked together to analyse their results and created a variety of colourful graphs such as bar charts, histograms, and pie charts. It was a really positive, hands-on activity that built confidence, teamwork, and a better understanding of how maths is used in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellbeing Ambassadors <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

After completing their training, the children were delighted to receive their certificates and officially become Wellbeing Ambassadors. This month, they will begin their important role during yard time, wearing lanyards so other pupils know they are there to help. They will be setting up a buddy bench as well as a games corner with board games to encourage friendship, inclusion, and fun for everyone!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
