privileged to see Mrs. McGarrity&#8217;s passion for poetry come to life at a communal recital in the hall. \u00a0Classes from 1st to 6th read out their poems, which they had composed in a variety of styles and on a range of topics from animals to human rights. <!--more-->\u00a0Some made us guffaw with laughter, while others brought a tear to our eyes. \u00a0It was a wonderful experience which again displays the outstanding effort and commitment of our pupils and their teachers. \u00a0We hope this is the beginning of a new tradition to keep poetry alive and flourishing in St.
