{"id":6455,"date":"2018-10-23T10:14:21","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T10:14:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stgabrielsns.ie\/?p=6455"},"modified":"2018-10-23T10:14:21","modified_gmt":"2018-10-23T10:14:21","slug":"stories-between-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stgabrielsns.ie\/?p=6455","title":{"rendered":"Stories Between Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Stories Between Us project is an intergenerational oral history project.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Sweetman&#8217;s 5th &amp; 6th class are working with Phibsboro Retirement Group and a group from Henrietta Adult Community Education, sharing stories and experiences of their pastimes. We are working with the National Museum &#8211; Collins Barracks, artist Janine Davidson, and Mary Muldowney &#8211; Dublin Central Historian in Residence.<\/p>\n<p>The groups met for the first time in the museum last week, and enjoyed a great selection of both indoor and outdoor play activities together. They played everything from Snap and chess, to rounders, conkers and sevens. There was even arts and crafts and Tai Chi.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the pictures to see all the fun!<\/p>\n<p>This special project will result in an exhibition in the National Museum in 2019. The children will be recording their stories and conversations with the other groups this week.<\/p>\n<p>We are very grateful to the Grangegorman Development Agency for funding this exciting
