The Dublin 7 Children and Youth Action Group ran a Valentine’s Art competition with a twist this year.<\/p>\n

The competition was open to all children and young people aged 4-18 in the schools and youth services in Dublin 7. The children were asked to think about how they could show love, care and kindness for themselves this Valentine’s Day, and to present their ideas as a poster.<\/p>\n

There were a number of age categories (5-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds, 13-15 year olds, and 16-18 year olds).<\/p>\n

From all the entries from all the schools in the area, we were so proud and delighted to have a winner in each of the Primary School age categories here in St. Gabriel’s. The prize was having the winning posters professionally printed!<\/p>\n

Well done to Irina and Milana for all their thinking and hard work on their posters.\n\t\t
