Dear Parents and Guardians,
We’re excited to share this week’s Lámh Sign of the Week – “Teacher”!
This sign is a wonderful way for children to communicate about their teacher and classroom environment.
👋 How to Sign “Teacher”:
Directions:
Use your right hand in a ‘D’ handshape, palm facing yourself.
Tap your cheek twice with the index finger.
This sign is a simple and meaningful way for children to identify and talk about their teacher.
💡 When to Use It:
- Talking about school or classroom routines
- Naming the teacher in stories, songs, or games
- Saying hello or goodbye to the teacher
- During circle time or role-play
👏 Thanks for supporting our school’s Lámh journey!
