Construction was the topic in Art for the month of May and in Senior Infants we made finger puppets.

First, we wrapped strips of paper around two fingers securing them with masking tape. We continued doing this until we had a head shape.

Next, we used papier mâché to strengthen the puppet and make it the shape we wanted.

When this dried we painted our puppets, giving them hair and faces and button eyes.
