Sports Day 2026 was a fantastic success for everyone at St Gabriel’s National School, with pupils from Junior Infants right through to 6th Class taking part in a fun-filled day of activity at The Law Society, Blackhall Place. The weather was incredible, providing the perfect backdrop for a wide range of races and games. Pupils enthusiastically competed in sprint races, sack races, egg-and-spoon races, and three-legged races, while also enjoying football, soccer, disco stations, and free-play activities. Most importantly, every pupil demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, positivity, and teamwork throughout the day. Their fantastic attitudes helped create a memorable event that celebrated participation, friendship, and fun for all. Well done to everyone who took part in such a great say!
