On Wednesday, 2nd October, we went on a bus to the Ark Theatre to see the play called “A Feast of Bones”. But when we arrived, the man told us we had come on the wrong day.

Fortunately for us, it was on that day too, at 12 o’clock. The man, Al, was so kind. He brought us into a little exhibition of sculptures of different animals. It was very funny and we could touch the materials that the sculptures were made of. After the exhibition, we went downstairs to play. There were four stations. We were divided into four groups. There was the creative station, the colouring station, the writing station and the reading station. We did art and read stories there. Some of us created works of art to display in the theatre’s animal exhibition. This is on show and open for people to visit. Maybe you could go some Saturday and see what we did.
An hour later, we went downstairs and had our lunch. Elani bought us apples, bananas, water and bars. We had a healthy lunch first and then we got the chocolate.
Finally, we went up to see the play. It was creepy. There was a French restaurant during World War One in Dublin. It was about Chicken Licken, who got a bang of something on the head and thought the sky was falling. A fox told Chicken Licken and her friends to come to his cave. In the cave, he ate everybody but Chicken Licken. The fox came in the shape of a man to the restaurant. The waitress was Chicken Licken in the shape of a woman. She made the fox think he had eaten his family, but in the end, they were okay.
It was so much fun and we didn’t want to leave. We walked over the cobblestones in Temple Bar back to the bus to return to school. When we got back to school, we drew pictures of our adventurous day. We want to go again!
