Here are photos of us using scales to see how heavy or light some objects are.
We used different non-standard units such as cubes, beads, teddy bears and animals. Some of the groups found out that a scissors weighs the same as seven cubes and the same as three elephants, a counting stick weighs the same as nine kangaroos and the same as sixteen beads!
