A group of parents visited the National Museum at Collins Barracks on Tuesday to take part in the Family Christmas Trails. There are two trails in the museum suitable for all the family – the Angel Trail and the 12 Days of Christmas Trail. Both trails are fun, interactive and finish with an art activity.
Helen and Hollie in the museum were excellent tour guides, as they always are. The museum is open through the Christmas holidays and the trails would make a fantastic, fun and free family day out.
Other events in the museum over Christmas:
Christmas Family Trails – running until 6th January 2016
Sunday 13th December, 3 – 4 pm – FREE “Hands on History” drop in activity.
Saturday 28th November, 3:30 – 4:30pm – FREE Family Storytelling with storyteller, Jack Lynch
Sunday 3rd January, 2pm – The Mummers’ Play with Armagh Rhymers – traditional storytelling, folk theatre, music, singing, dance and drama and guaranteed to be a great laugh!
