Dublin: A poem

Well done to Alan in Sweetman’s Class who wrote this wonderful poem in class.

Dublin

By Alan

I suppose you think Dublin is a dirty old town,

With the weather and the crime bringing you down,

But on a sunny day it’s the best place to be,

You can go to the park or swim in the sea.

Born in Dublin, here for life,

One day here I’ll meet a wife,

Wherever I go, wherever I roam,

I will always be happy to call Dublin my home.
