In maths, First Class have been busy learning all about 2D shapes. We engaged in lots of oral discussions and hands-on activities to explore a variety of 2D shapes and discover their different properties.

The children in First Class truly adore their weekly trips to the school library. They are very responsible when using their own library cards to borrow books and take great pride in choosing their reading material. We especially enjoy having a little peek through our new books just before home time.

In Art, we recently painted our clay creations. These included emojis, hearts and a variety of imaginative pieces inspired by the children’s own ideas.

The children constructed dragon puppets as part of the Chinese New Year Celebrations, which will begin on February 17th 2026.
