Happy Friday

Hello Senior Infants,

I hope you all have a wonderful week, and are continuing to enjoy the magnificent weather we are having. Are you enjoying the beautiful weather? I hope you are all getting outside to play and enjoy the sunshine.

This week has been a busy week for Miss Reynolds. I have been in my vegetable garden most days, checking on my onions and potatoes. Here are some photos of how well my vegetables are growing.

Do you know what vegetables need to grow? Vegetables have the same basic needs as we do; light, food, water and warmth. It is important that these basic needs are met so vegetables grow. I know some boys and girls in Senior Infants are busy looking after their vegetables!

Here is a link to the Food Dubes website. They have activities you can download to help you learn about eating lots of fruit and vegetables.

This week, I have been putting together a variety of activities that your child may have-a-go at if it suits. Here is a link to Suggestions for Senior Infants.

Continue practising your counting here with Ms. Whyte and continue to have a look at the school website for more activities School website.
