Our Spring Walk to the Phoenix Park

Junior and Senior Infants were delighted to be able to join up with our buddies in 5th and 6th class to go on a spring walk to the park.

It was fantastic to team up in our challenge to search for signs of spring. The children found some spring blossoms, budding branches, beautiful daffodils and even a little ladybird!

All classes are looking forward to our next outing with buddies from other classes in the school.

Pupils from St Gabriel’s NS feature in exciting National Museum project “Little Houses”

We are very excited and proud of our current and past pupils who took part in the “Little Houses” project in the National Museum of Ireland.

Little Houses’ is an exhibition of artworks created during the Covid 19 pandemic, in a collaborative partnership between the Stoneybatter Youth Service and the National Museum of Ireland.

Check out the project’s website, where you can explore the houses and watch a video interviewing some of the participants. The exhibition is now open in the National Museum in Collins Barracks. It’s well worth a visit!
