Restorative Practices for Parents and Guardians

St Gabriel’s NS is a restorative school. We are working with Restorative Practices expert Michelle Stowe and Connect RP to develop our practice in the school.
Do you know what Restorative Practices are? Or what effect they can have on our school experience? Would you like to find out more?
Parents and Guardians are invited to an information session with HSCL Mr. Donnelly at the school on Wednesday 22nd March, 9am in the school library.
Notes have gone home about this event in your child’s bag. If you wish to attend, please return the form, or contact Mr Donnelly hsclstgabriels@gmail.com.
Hope to see you there!
Gymnastics in First Class!
World Book Day at St. Gabriel’s N.S.
All classes had a fantastic World Book Day in school recently. Thank you to all who organised and participated. Parents and guardians were invited into the school for tea & coffee and shared reading in all classes. There was a fantastic turnout!
Junior classes enjoyed a fantastic book trail which brought them around the school and included extracts from some of our favourite books. The school was decorated for the day with our own bunting showing our favourite books. All classes enjoyed extra reading time and other World Book Day activities from https://www.worldbookday.com/ Every child was also given a book token to go towards getting a book!

D7 mini-league @ Grangegorman
Senior students recently participated in soccer matches against North Dublin Muslim School and St. Mary’s N.S. at the TUD Grangegorman campus.
Students on the girls and boys 5 a-side teams played well and had lots of fun. Both teams won one match and lost the other.
We hope to have a repeat of the fixtures soon in Inspire Fitness Cabra, where overall results will be decided.
