We hope our families can visit the school tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday 30th January, to see all the hard work we have done in Art this month.
Miss O’Loughlin’s class made clay pencil parers, clay relief tiles, mosaic patterned tiles and we even had a visit to the National Museum on Kildare Street, where we were shown prehistoric pots up to 5,000 years old. We then got to make our own ones.
We are very proud of our work and would love our families to come and see it!
Drop in anytime between 1pm-2.30pm to see the children’s work!
We are celebrating Grandparents Day in St Gabriel’s Ns on Tuesday 29th January with a short assembly and prayer service at 8.50am in the Hall.
All family members are welcome to attend. During the week, the children will be discussing the role that all people play in their parish and community. If you would like to take part in the discussion with your child’s class about when you were growing up straight after assembly, the children would really appreciate it.
