Check back here on Monday when hopefully I will be able to upload lots of your lovely “Thank You“ May Day messages to the wonderful frontline workers helping to keep us safe and well during this time.
Take care,

1st Class Work

Hi all,

It was lovely talking to all your parents during the week. By now most of you are now set up on SeeSaw and working away on the activities on the app. I will continue to put some work up here on the school website but as most of you are up and running on the app I will put most work on SeeSaw – most of you are now getting the hang of making videos, typing on worksheets, writing on worksheets, recording audio clips and more. Well done and keep it up.

If anyone is having any problems with any part of working SeeSaw your parents can send me a message on SeeSaw or contact Mr Donnelly.

Please remind your parents that they must send an email back to Mr Donnelly saying it is ok for you to use SeeSaw.

Over the weekend I will load all of next weeks work here and on SeeSaw. So keep an eye on here and on SeeSaw. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Welcome Back!

Hi Class,

Welcome Back! It’s Monday again! I hope you and your family have had a good Easter and that you didn’t eat too much chocolate!  How are your peas and watercress? Have they grown much? Have you tried the watercress yet?

We are well into Spring now and the weather has been beautiful and I hope you have had a chance to get outside safely for your daily exercise and to play. It’s been busy in my house trying to keep my three girls busy. I hope you are looking after yourselves and your families.

I hope before Easter you had a chance to try out some of the activities I put on the website HERE

And you also had some Easter activities to try out over the Easter break HERE

If you didn’t its still not too late to try out some of the activities above. Below are a few new follow up activities to try out. Next week (starting Monday 20th April) I will be hoping to get back into some new work and hopefully have you share some of your work with me.

In the meantime….

SeeSaw codes for you to log in will be making their way to your parents email addresses today and tomorrow- so keep an eye out for them. And make sure Mum or Dad replies to Mr Donnelly giving permission for you to use the app before you start!

You simply

1. Go to https://web.seesaw.me/

2. Click “log in”

3. Click “I’m a student”

4. Type your text code you received by email from Mr Donnelly into the box for Text Code

Then you are in Mr Smyth’s SeeSaw Class and you will see your activities there.

I have uploaded a introduction video and two very simple Maths activities to get you started.

Easter Activities

Hi Class,

I hope you and your family are well. I hope you found the bingo activity I posted last week useful and fun and that you are enjoying trying out some of the activities. By now your watercress and pea plants should be thriving and I trust you are remembering to water and take care of them. Why not take a few photographs of how they are growing? So when we have a chance you can share them with me and the rest of your friends in the class! Keep all the work you have being doing so far as I look forward to seeing some of it when I see you all next.

Keep working away at the activities I shared with you HERE as there should be plenty left to do. Below are some nice links to some lovely fun Easter activities to keep you going alongside your other work until I am in touch again.

Take care of yourself and your family,

Happy Easter,

See you all very soon,

Mr Smyth
