The children in 3rd Class have been busy making powerpoint presentations and poster projects on Australia in geography. Check out some of the projects below.

Today 3rd Class attended a workshop in Collins Barracks on the life and work of William Morris, a key figure in the Arts and Crafts Movement. The pupils learned about Morris’s love of nature and design and how his legacy continues to inspire artists today.

Today, 3rd class and a number of other classes paid a visit to Technological University Dublin as part of Space Week. They took part in a workshop with the Armagh Planetarium, learning all about our solar system, planets, stars and much much more. In addition, the class tuned into the ARISS radio link between pupils from various primary schools and Japansese astronaut Takaya Ornishi on board the International Space Station.
