Senior Infants

Dear Parents / Guardians,

I hope you and your families are all keeping well and safe during this time.

I have been putting together a variety of activities that your child may have-a-go at if it suits you and your circumstances.

Here is a link to Suggestions for Senior Infants. There are a variety of activities to choose from. I hope you have fun sharing these interactive learning experiences together.

Best of all, enjoy playing and have lots of fun! I am looking forward to hearing all the stories about what you are getting up to. Stay safe.

Junior Table Quiz

All the pupils in junior and senior infants took part in the One World Week table quiz on Wednesday. The competition was fierce with all teams finishing just a couple of points apart. Santa Claus pays a visit to St. Gabriel’s

We had a very special visitor to St. Gabriel’s this week.

Santa Claus came to visit on Wednesday. He said he had heard that we are the best school in Dublin with the best boys and girls. And he’s right!

He very kindly gave a gift of a book to every single boy and girl in the whole school. He reminded the children how reading is so important and also lots of fun.

We were very impressed that Santa has been learning Irish too, and was able to use his cúpla focail. He was very impressed with the good manners of the children throughout the school in English and in Irish.

Wishing all the children and their families a very happy Christmas.

School reopens Monday 8th January at 8:50am
