Congratulations to girls from 2nd and 3rd class in St Gabriel’s who successfully completed 10 weeks of the wonderful Gaelic 4 Girls programme with St. Brendans GAA club in Grangegorman. They had a wonderful time playing games, learning new skills and having fun.

St. Brendans will also be running summer camps – details are below and children can be enrolled here.

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to the pupils who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday May 7th. They worked very hard to prepare for their big day and were greatly supported by their classmates. Some students from 1st to 6th Class sang in the choir and made the day even more special. Their beautiful singing brought lots of smiles to family and friends at the ceremony. Well done to all involved!

4th Class Visit to Grangegorman DIT for a tour and a fantastic STEM event

On Friday 29th April, 4th Class joined 5th and 6th Class for a special “Switch On STEM”, STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) event with university TU Dublin Biology students. The children had a wonderful time!

Afterwards, they were given a special tour of the college- a talk with a lecturer in Product Design outside the Product Design room, a visit to the TV studio room, concert hall and roof garden.

A huge thanks to Ian Roller of DIT for the invite and organising the visit.
