Congratulations to the students from St Gabriel’s who participated in a collection of writing and artwork facilitated by Eveanna O Meara and Dublin 1/7 School Completion Programme. Tales from the City is a collection of children’s artistic contributions showing what they feel is special about the city they live in. Eight students from St. Gabriel’s contributed to the book, in addition to young people from other schools and community projects in Dublin 1 and 7. Well done for creating such wonderful art, poetry and writing!
Congratulations to all our incredible students who participated in the end-of-year summer show! Your enthusiasm, hard work, and talent truly shone on stage, making the event a spectacular success. A heartfelt thank you to the parents for their unwavering support and encouragement, and to all the staff who guided and inspired the students every step of the way. Together, you all made this celebration of creativity and achievement a memorable one. A special congratulations to the after-school club for their outstanding hard work and dedication! From our DJs who traveled all the way from Ibiza to bring us incredible music, to our talented dancers and singers who captivated the audience with their amazing performances, each of you played a vital role in making the show unforgettable. Your passion and commitment have truly paid off, and we are so proud of everything you have accomplished. Great job!

Junior and Senior Infants had a great time participating in our Sports Day.

We had so much to do. We took part in fun races like the sack race, the egg and spoon race and the three-legged race. We played football and took penalties. We tried the tug-of-war and enjoyed playing with the parachute. A great day was had by all.

Junior and Senior Infants travelled to Co. Kildare to visit Clonfert Pet Farm for our school tour. We had such a great time! We were busy all day trying out a variety of activities. We had fun on the bouncy castle, driving go-karts, playing football and playing in a few of the many playgrounds.

We enjoyed being brought on a guided tour of the farm and zoo to see lots of interesting animals and birds. We saw guinea pigs, owls, llamas, alpaca, rabbits, sheep, ponies, meerkats and a porcupine to name a few.

The fun didn’t stop on the farm. On the coach we entertained ourselves by chatting, singing songs and sightseeing out the windows.

Some of the activities we enjoyed can be seen in the photos. Senior infants tried the mini-golf and we all had a go on the zip-line. We even had time to fit in some play in the indoor soft-play area.
